Black Business Leaders, Help End the Opioid Crisis and Stop the Stigma: Take the Pledge
Delaware’s black-owned businesses drive our economy and our communities forward. That’s why BIPOC businesses and faith leaders across our state are teaming up to tackle Delaware’s biggest health challenge: substance use disorder.
I pledge that my organization will help stop stigma and support SUD recovery.
I pledge to create a stigma-free workplace that encourages employees and customers to discuss and seek help for substance use disorder (SUD), addiction and mental health.
I pledge to educate my workforce about this brain disease and prepare employees to have stigma-free conversations with their colleagues, friends and loved ones.
I pledge to share prevention and treatment resources in my workplace.
I pledge to train my employees to use Narcan to prevent overdose and to make Narcan available in my workplace in case of emergency.
I pledge to work with other business leaders to support recovery in Delaware.
The #1 barrier to treatment for substance use disorder is stigma. Sign the pledge and help us stop it.
